Emmy 2022: tutte le nomination del premio TV più prestigioso
Squid Game è la prima serie in lingua non inglese a entrare nelle candidature come Miglior Serie Drammatica
Sono state annunciate ieri, all’interno di grande evento virtuale condotto da J.B. Smoove e Melissa Fumero, le nomination per gli Emmy Awards 2022 il premio più prestigioso della televisione americana, che da sempre viene considerato un po come l’Oscar del piccolo schermo. Occorre ricordare che le candidature 2022 hanno tenuto conto delle serie tv uscite tra il 1 giugno 2021 e il 31 maggio 2022 e che quindi hanno visto l’esclusione, almeno per quest’anno di titoli come The Boys o The Old Man.
OCCHI PUNTATI SU SQUID GAME, EUPHORIA e STRANGER THINGS AGLI EMMY 2022
Ad essersi accaparrata il maggior numero di nomination, come da pronostici, figura Succession, la serie del marchio HBO con ben 25 candidature tra cui ovviamente anche quella per il miglior Drama. Raggiunge un ottimo risultato anche la serie di Apple Tv+, Ted Lasso con 20 nomination.
Bei numeri anche per le due serie Netflix, Stranger Things (13) e per Squid Game (16) che per altro porta già a casa un piccolo record poiché è la prima serie in lingua non inglese a entrare nelle candidature come Miglior Serie Drammatica. Da segnalare che la serie targata Netflix Stranger Things, fa incetta di nomination nei principali premi tecnici, mentre Squid Game domina nelle interpretazioni degli attori.
Bel traguardo anche per la seconda stagione di Euphoria, prodotto HBO distribuito in Italia da Sky, che conquista per la prima volta l'ambita nomination come miglior drama, cosa ancora più incredibile se consideriamo che si tratta fondamentalmente di una serie teen. Molto interessante notare che Zendaya, non solo protagonista ma anche produttrice esecutiva, diventa così la donna più giovane (25 anni) candidata in questa categoria. Una sorta di bandiera per la generazione Zeta.
